Since 2006, DGEC has delegated to the BRGM the management and provision of raw geophysical data as well as deep drilling data relating to Hydrocarbon Exploration–Production activities.

BRGM receives raw data from the DGEC or the operators, which are then collated and made available to the applicants against payment of a charge based on overheads.

Access to the data is carried out using the “Map viewer” or “Data access” tabs. Once the data has been selected, it is possible to edit a quote online and send an e-mail to the data access portal to quickly receive this data using a secure website.

The Boussens core library organizes and makes available the consultation of cores after authorization from BRESS.

For high temperature geothermal data, as well as those relating to underground storage, these are the subject of a current agreement. For any requests regarding this data, please contact dgec-2a@developpement-durable.gouv.fr .
